The Hippie Goddess invents The Frog!

This was the image i made at the request of :iconaudreydc1983: ~audreydc1983 who won the charity auction of a BBW drawing request to support the Gulf Spill thing that i didn't even really know about until :iconkartoonkween: ~KartoonKween gave me the link to the livejournal art auction (Thanks, KK!).

The request was for one of my hippie goddesses, long flowing blond hair, underarm hair is acceptable but not as overboard as i can go *innocent smile* with my special brand of feet and toes, and to include a frog in the image somehow. If she likes this, I will be sending it to her in the mail!

I'm quite proud of how it turned out. My only concern is that i hope people see the flying things as tiny flowers and petals magically floating around special bits, and not as flies or bugs...

Her boobs seem to be flying up because i intended for her to be in more of a dancing pose. Just imagine her quickly lifting her arms to that position and that the image is capturing her just before her boobies fall from the recoil bounce. Plausible yet?

And the lines aren't actually darker in the lower half - this was just the best photo i could take, and they always seem to add shadow or light where you don't want it...

Anyhoo, enjoy!

And here's the lesser detailed version: [link]

Thank you very much!

Since it's all make-believe to begin with, it doesn't really matter, one way or another. So i don't give it that much thought.
Plus, i've been told by full-on practicing witches that both the inverted and upright pentagrams/pentacles (semantics for the exact same shape) have their place in pagan practice and ceremony. Anyway, any kind of satanism is spawned from christianity, which came long AFTER pagan ritual, and we all know the christians ransacked and stole all the pagan rituals and symbologies when they were commiting genocide in the name of their "peaceful" religion, and perverted them to their own causes, and took an inverted line-drawn-star-in-circle and blew it up as if it was the symbol for the christian devil, even though it's only a pagan symbol of protection (another indicator that it's all make-believe to begin with: drawing symbols didn't protect them very well, as history shows).
But i thought i mentioned my "unclarity" at which version of the line-drawn-star-in-circle shape to include in the description... maybe it was in reply to another commenter because i don't see it in the descrip...

And i tried to put it in a place that could be ambiguous as to which direction is "up" to hopefully stem this kind of confusion.

I really dig the boobs - it does look like she's been dancing and they haven't stopped yet (even thought the rest of her has) ---(which has happened to me on numerous occasions, so I thought they looked very realistic) ---and they add to the joyous movement of the piece.

and I have a special thing for daisies - so I may be biased - but I knew right away what they were.

It looks great!

You truly are talented! It's gonna look great on my wall! :)
IMO, you should take on a few more commissions - a little bit of direction and a few constraints might influence your work positively.
And the money too. Money is good. :D

Makes me feel happy someone's gonna have my work on their wall, hehe!
If i could deliver on my promises i totally would take on more commissions. More money is good. I just can't seem to turn my art on or off, it has a will of its own, especially when it comes to requests, heh. I almost didn't finish this one, but i found a period of time when i wasn't focused on anything else and decided i should.
But this was a fun one, too! I mean, how could i screw up drawing a hippie goddess, right? I like the requests that sit right at home with what i'd probably have drawn on my own anyway, hehe.
I guess it all comes down to the fact that i draw to convey a feeling or idea while having fun, and when that feeling isn't my own i am less attached to it, and less passionate about drawing it, and it's less fun. And since i draw to relax and enjoy myself, i rarely ever draw when it's something i don't enjoy or requires a huge amount of stress to complete. Otherwise i know i'll do a sloppy job and short-change the requester. Or i will start it and never finish, if it's something very detailed.

Anyway, i'm very happy you enjoy her! I don't want to let her go! Hehe, but i will send it to you as soon as i can buy a large enough padded envelope and some pieces of cardboard to reinforce it. This sketchbook's pages are quite thin.
And the measurements are 11x14".
In case you're frame-fitting.

I understand about not being able to turn your creativity on and off...you just have to go with the flow. Sometimes, I'll get half done with a painting...and just not want to paint anymore. So, it sits for six months...a year, whatever, until I feel like painting again. And meanwhile I get people asking me "So...when is that painting gonna be finished?" Grrr...annoying...like I'm an art machine here to do their bidding.
:P
It's really obvious that you enjoy your art - the poses, facial expressions, and concepts you use definitely show a love of drawing, and especially of the curvy female form. ;)
I'm glad we were on the same page! Guess great minds think alike... :D

You could be the stud of the century, bedding supermodels on a whim, have worked in porn all your life, and on your deathbed some ninety years down the road, you could still say "I haven't seen enough naked women."

Aw, well i didn't see my first until i was 17. And my girlfriends seemed to be all about luck - some unpopular nerdy girl liked me, her friends approached my friends and told me, and me being an unpopular dorky guy thought, "i'm never gonna get any better" - which if i could change what i thought it would be, "there is no better!"
Random chances, but taking the first step usually helps more. I just never learned how myself because of pure luck.

17 you say? Let me think... I would have been... 18.

And my relationship past is mostly depressing. It includes one girl cheating on her boyfriend with me out of pity, one girl who left me for another guy and one girl who wouldn't give me a week after a year long crush she knew about. Oh, and did I say includes? I meant "is entirly composed of".

Pure luck never helped me and my intiatives fail.
