**EDIT**
Wow, i was honored with Second Place in the Bounty of Beauty Contest, held by fatgirlstock and lisolettegilcrest! There were so many many beautiful works celebrating the absolute true beauty of chubby women, that it really humbles (at the same time head-swells) me. Thank you so much for this honor! I love it when my message gets through!
**end edit**

Now, i have in the works a Calendar. Really it's only in the idea stage, but i have a few pieces that would work in it, and some pieces i intend to create for it ... that Tangled Up Faery i have featured at the time of this posting will be May, because my girlfriend's birthday is May 31st, and May is a red word.
I originally thought this idea back when i drew the "Pretty Enough" drawing ... i can't remember if she's here in my gallery or not ... but i ended up drawing the "I feel pretty" one instead - with the girl frolicking, throwing her bra off amidst cherry blossoms falling .... that one may become April - but i have other April ideas (as it is my month, and the most colorful flowers and cherry blossoms come out in April).
Then when i thought of making the calendar, this idea came back to me as being potential for November, as that's one of the rainiest months ever! ... But it really could be March, too!
I originally had a St. Patrick's theme for March, but i also think March is one of the the rainiest months ... as we all should know March showers bring April flowers (i know that's not the "real" saying, but that's what REALLY happens ... at least in BC ... Newfoundland doesn't really have a Spring *sad face*). So, i'm a little torn ... as March is sorta reddish (M is a red-colored letter) ... and November is more gray and white in color (even though N is an orange letter ... synaesthesia - look it up!), and this piece would fit November's color scheme more ..... but what girl is gonna go running around naked during a cold, cold November rain? But then there's the song "November Rain" which makes it fit even MORE!
But then, what girl's gonna have 2 umbrellas? It doesn't need to be super real, right? Just pretty, inspiring and eye-opening!

The 2 umbrellas in the rain symbolize to me the fact that she doesn't care anymore what other people think ... she's fat AND she's gorgeous! She needs no more protection from the oppressive rain, but embraces herself in it! Liberation, in a word.

Oh, and the fact that she looks almost exactly like my Demon Sorceress taking a Dark Shower is purely coincidental - hair tends to look black when it's wet - plus this rain girl was imagined way before the Dark Shower image. She may be October for Halloween ... but then i shouldn't put this rain girl in for November for lack of variety in women reasons ... oy, the think i must contemplate as you fall asleep reading my rantings ...

Oh, and how's that for my first serious umbrella drawings?

You a fan of Guns 'n Roses?

No, not really. I was afraid to name it November Rain because of that reason - i also had it as March Rain (the old title was "March or November Rain," since they're the rainiest months - but the colours are more "November" to me).
But i did enjoy November Rain the song when it came out.

Why thank you very much. I just sorta took a hint from comic books, took a ruler and made a bunch of equally slanted (roughly) lines, shaded with a gloomy rainy purple/blue, hehe. Along with the tiny skin splashings, hehe. Glad you like it.

You just keep getting better and better! I love the linework for this, especially her stomach/breasts/legs. And then the coloring is great, too!

That water looks complicated to draw. =/

Aww, thanks. This one's pretty old actually - well, a couple years at least. It one second prize on that old Bounty of Beauty contest held back when!
Really, the water was pretty simple, hehe - just draw sorta surrounding flat circles that don't touch in some places, and voila - water ripples, hehe. For the reflection i just drew the foot lines as if in a mirror.
Oohh, you might have meant the splash? Well, just draw upwards spreading drops, hehe. OR, you could have meant the water on her skin - that was a little trickier to figure out, because i wasn't sure what i did was convincing. I just drew random areas of dripping-looking lines and outlined them in blue, hehe.
