Odette the Swan Princess

Here is Odette, the Swan Princess, from the animated movie "The Swan Princess" (betcha didn't see that title comin'!)
Hehe. Well, this is my half of the current art-trade i am sharing with (comethime).

Anyhoo, i'm not really very familiar with Odette, nor do i think i've ever watched the movie ... My brother might have ... he was into the girly princess type movies while i was into the Ninja Turtles and Terminator 2 and such, hehe. But i do remember seeing commercials for the movie, and did think she was very pretty.

What was funny was that the day comethime suggested her for the art trade i had looked at the cover of the dvd at the video store, thinking i could probably turn her into a BBW and she'd be pretty, hehe!

I got the pose directly from an image i found on google: ( [link] ) and also researched swans to draw one at least cartoony-properly. And I invented those little bubble magic things cuz i thought they fit, hehe. Originally there was supposed to be a big, shaded swan outline behind her, but she took up more of the page than i had intended (5"x7" page), so i put it above her hand which was in that position for no real reason, haha.
