Artist's Comments

You know that Jason Mraz song that just gets stuck in your head and drives you crazy, called "The Geek in the Pink"? Well, my mind always replaces the word "Pink" with "Freak".
Probably partly because those are the nicknames of a couple of african-tribe type warriors in the later volumes of my Favorite Book Series: The Black Company by Glen Cook. Plus, it was also the name of a semi-recent picture by nickyflamingo (How do you make those dA links that include their icons? So many people use them, that they must have a special short-cut code, rather than having to do the whole "a href" and "img src" thing...).

Anyhoo, all these combined made me realize i really need to draw a picture of a beautiful, sexy couple of types of girls: A Geek and a Freak! So, yah. Here they are. They're not modelled after anyone i've seen, just random trying to make 2 very different shapes in one image, (because i've been accused of drawing the same body type a lot).

Some of you may have seen them in my scraps uncolored, sooooo ... here they are colored!!! The scanner really sucks the life out of the colors, though ... so don't shoot me.

A tribute to all the beautiful geek and freak girls out there, hehe!

This game was trying to be that game that stole the nerds quarters at the arcade. Yeah, I kicked that guys ass, then I ate his pizza. Then I slept with his girlfriend, then I got a burning sensation in my scrotum. WHY CAN’T ANYONE UNDERSTAND MY PAIN!

Really cool pic! I love all the different colors, and the fact that these two are bigger gals is even better! The shading is awesome, btw. The hands need to be a tad bit bigger, though. The tattoos are cool; i like the flaming skull, even though you can hardly see it. The way the letters are done is cool, and even cooler is the red and white polkadots!

For your question about the icons... :icon___: -just replace the ___ with the username!

Wow, really nice. :) I'm a geek myself, so this was a cool pic to see. Love the colors and designs, and the concept is great! :D

Thank you very very much! I like it when people notice the details!! I can't quite see what you mean by the hands, but maybe that's because i've been looking at it for a long time now, drawing and coloring it and can't see it objectively.

And, so is there a space between icon and ____? or does it run together ... lemme test ...

Haha, awesome! I'd love a Mega Man tattoo, too! I have a drawing of him i did from looking at the actual pixeled image in the game - really the exact pose as the one on her arm, hehe.
