Wraith - 2001

From what i've read, a Wraith is the spirit of a thief, murderer, criminal, etc... that the universe does not allow to die completely. They are forced to continue with their murderous, thieving ways after death but don't want to anymore. They have to suffer the pain that they cause to the people they victimize and forever live in torment.

My first encounter with Wraiths was in the PC game "Quest For Glory 4: Shadows of Darkness." They hoarded the treasure they stole and if you killed them you got a lot of money and items, hehe. I miss that series...
Then again in an N64 game, Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage - one of the best RPGs ever made, in my opinion.

I can't believe i've never posted this one!! It's one of my all-time favorite pieces! It was drawn in August 2001. I just wanted to make a creepy looking wraith ghoul type thing.

Oh, and those are his arms with scythes as hands (as both representations of Wraiths i've seen seemed to have scythe-hands), with his long spine dangling down in the middle. A lot of people mistake all that as some sort of cloak for some reason.
