 lately i have been trying have fuller women in my drawings, not just the kids and athletic-ey types. i can safely say this will certainly be an influence later on Aw, thank you very much! I like that you draw BBWs without food in their hands and such. (Because most people on here will draw BBWs stuffing their faces, making it seem like that's all we ever do is eat.) Anyways, keep up the good work. ^_^ Yes, that is one of my rules - i will never draw a girl eating unless it's related to a general theme (the plum girl was eating a plum) because yes, too many people draw girls stuffing their faces, which is just as damaging as starving. And it only helps blow up the already overblown stereotype of the over-eating fat person. It's sometimes genetics. Some big girls i know eat less than their skinny friends, and have healthier blood and heart pressure, but are still bigger.
I try to promote natural, healthy, happy BBW. Thanks for noticing. It pisses me off when all i see are big women portrayed as either over-eating, or something to laugh at and make fun of. If i want a laugh, i want it to be because she's doing something extremely cute, not something embarrassing to all big girls everywhere. It is kinda why i started drawing these - i was just sick of nobody portraying BBW as regular attractive people, who can be cute, sexy, and confident, so i had to do it. No more food-stained lips, or being pointed at. Make big girls the star, but earning it, kinda thing. Sorry for ranting, hehe. As you can see i'm a little passionate about it. |
