I found it completely enjoyable!
Trailers really can ruin a movie. Most of the things i thought were going to annoy me the most from the trailers didn't seem as annoying as the plot moved on, and kinda worked.

I will have to eat my hat and say that Melissa McCarthy didn't annoy me like the commercials said. Neither did Leslie Jones, who seemed the most annoying in the trailer. She was actually likeable in the movie itself. And of course the blond one was dorky-freaky like some people i surround myself with, so she was enjoyable!

Kristen Wiig's character didn't seem as much "every other Kristen Wiig character in every other movie" as i thought she'd be (even though she totally was)... it didn't strike me as anything overly obvious or irritating. I kept on trying to figure out who was who, though...
There's the obvious that Leslie Jones is Winston, and it appears that McCarthy is Ray Stanz... but she also expresses some Egonisms... but then so does the blond one, who was funny in a good way, too. But Peter was the funny one... but Peter was also the one who left the group to pursue other interests before being brought back into the team like Wiig's character, but Wiig's character seemed much more like an Egon as well...
So i kinda think it's cool they mixed and matched a few of the main character traits.

Yes, the Thor-Janeane character was a major dummy, but the way he delivered his lines it made me laugh more than once, and so did the rest of the cast. Maybe he just reminded me of Flight of the Conchords, but he got some good chuckles outta me!

I have to say everyone, even me, made so much bigger of a deal than this movie deserved.
It did NOT totally suck. It wasn't super amazing, but it was much better than just ok! At least I thought so!

And the way they setup the sequel, i really kinda hope they do make one... i actually really like this team of Ghostbusters, they charmed me, and made me feel excited about a possible sequel!

But now i feel kinda sad that it didn't do as well as it would have if social media hadn't become the global, schizophrenic monster it has become.
I found it kinda funny how they included lines about how people and the media will say whatever they want, but as long as we know it's good, that's what matters.
And i thought it was good.
But it probably doesn't matter, because it bombed. And now we won't likely be seeing this team take down Zuul...
And i find that very disappointing...

Enjoyed the Cameos... i laughed at Jeneane's "Whattaya want?" as a hotel clerk, and Dan Aykroyd's appearance was the best of them all, but i could swear i heard somewhere they were supposed to have a tribute to Harold Ramis... more than just a small text at the end of the credits saying, "For Harold Ramis"... wasn't there supposed to be a picture of him somewhere, or a ghost of him or something?

Yeah, this movie got so much hate. It makes me disgusted with the world in general. Every movie that's come out in the last decade has been a remake of something, and yet none of THEM got this kind of disgust, because they kept an all-male cast. It's incredibly disheartening.
